At a recent Sundays with Janne and David, two women stood together in the
systemic field and were married before a circle that held far more than the people
physically present.
One participant represented the Spirit of the Universe and officiated the ceremony.
The couple represented themselves. The remaining participants represented
ancestors from both family systems.
Within that field, marriage became more than an agreement between two people. It
became an acknowledgement that love flows through generations and belongs to
something larger than any individual.
The ceremony was profound, sacred and deeply moving. It honoured belonging,
inclusion and the river of love that carries life from one generation to the next.
Love is not a concept. It is a river. When we honour love, we honour life itself.
